How to copy a user

Create a new user by copying an existing user profile.

Overview

Copying a user can save time when creating a new user who needs similar access to an existing user.

Copy a user

  1. Open User Logins.

  2. Select the existing user you want to copy.

  3. Select the copy button.

  4. Update the copied profile with the new user’s information.

  5. Review security access, Product Groups, and IP restrictions.

  6. Select Save and Close.

Important

Always review copied permissions before saving. Do not assume the copied user should keep every permission from the original profile.
