Overview
ncConnect can use both company-level and user-level IP restrictions to control where users can sign in from.
How restrictions are combined
Company-level restrictions apply broadly to all company users. User-level restrictions apply to a specific user. When access is validated, ncConnect considers both sets of restrictions.
Best practice
Use company-level restrictions for standard office or network access.
Use user-level restrictions for specific exceptions or approved remote locations.
Review both areas when a user cannot access ncConnect from a location they expect to use.
