Overview

Job Processing statuses show where a file, job, or individual record is in the review, approval, print, mail, or image workflow.

Common statuses

  • Ready to Process: The file was received and will be placed into the processing queue shortly.

  • Waiting QC: Newcourse is reviewing the first live file or confirming revisions before normal production processing.

  • Waiting Approval: The item is ready for client review.

  • Approved: The item has been reviewed and approved.

  • Rejected: The item has been reviewed and sent back for revisions or corrections.

  • Ready to Print: The production file has been released to continue to print or image processing.

  • Suppressed: A record has been stopped from continuing through the standard output process.

  • Cancelled: The full job has been stopped and will not continue.

Tip

If a file appears suppressed or cancelled automatically, hover over the status when available to see whether business logic or a missing required value caused the status.
