Overview

Product Groups are used to control product visibility and access in ncConnect. They help limit which products a user can view, approve, reject, or otherwise interact with.

Example use case

A company may allow the Escrow department to view and work with escrow products, while keeping loss mitigation products separate.

Who usually manages Product Groups

Product Groups are typically managed by administrators or users who have been granted Product Groups security access.

How Product Groups work

  1. Create a Product Group.

  2. Add products to the group.

  3. Assign the group to one or more users in User Logins.

  4. Users only see products included in the Product Groups assigned to them, unless they are set to ignore Product Groups.
