Overview

Search operators tell ncConnect how to match the value you enter.

Common operators

  • Is equal to: Use this when you know the exact value.

  • Ends with: Use this when you only know the last characters of a value, such as the last five digits of a loan number.

  • Between: Use this when searching within a date range.

Best practice

Use the most exact operator available. For loan number searches, is equal to is usually best when you have the full loan number.
